HCI Track & DATA BASE for Advances in Information Systems (DATA BASE)
Track on Human-Computer Interaction in Auckland, New Zealand
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The HCI track at PACIS 2007 focuses on issues related to the manner in which humans interact with technologies, information and tasks in business, managerial, organizational, cultural, and social contexts. The HCI track aims at being a premier presentation forum for the latest ideas and results in the HCI research area by providing an open and constructive discussion forum. We seek research papers and case studies that help to bridge scholastic research and industry practice. Of special interest are conceptual and empirical papers that identify important HCI problems in today’s economy and that endeavour to offer solutions to all these problems by drawing upon theories and/or methodologies from all applicable disciplines.
